Protect your data from accidental syncing and malware! Our USB Shield ( USB condom, USB syncstop, UCD01) prevents accidental data exchange when your device is plugged into someone else"s computer or a public charging station. This USB condom achieves this by blocking the data pins on any USB cable and allowing only power to flow through. This minimizes opportunities to steal your data or install malware on your mobile device.
Now many public locations offer USB charging stations, but its a trivial task to modify one of these to allow an attacker to access your data. USB Condom cuts off access to the data transfer pins on the USB port, while still permitting access to the power supply.
Our USB condom works with any mobile device: Android, Ios, Windows, Blackberry and so on.
Where this USB Shield (USB condom) should be used?
When you need a quick charge of your phone or other device, it"s easy to just connect it into any untrusted computer or public charging station. The chance of malicious data getting through to your phone is pretty slim, but it still exists.
You should use this USB shield at the places which you are not sure safe or not, or at home that you dont want your data/information sync automatic. Especially at the following places.
